Who We Are
We believe that every student, every idea, and every startup has the possibility to do great things. To shape culture. To disrupt business. To inspire change. At Quarter Zero (QØ), we exist to propel that possibility.
Quarter Zero is a fast-paced startup run by a small and nimble team. We work hard because we believe in our mission, but we also work smart because we believe in efficiency. We value a flat hierarchical structure and actively look for opportunities where team members can grow in their experience and voice their insights.
At Quarter Zero, we are committed to diversity both in our programs and in our company. We often ask our students to leverage their unique perspective to solve a problem. Similarly, we are looking for individuals who can leverage their unique backgrounds to drive greater impact and serve a diverse set of students.
Summer 2018 Program Intern
Paid Position | Travel to 4 Entrepreneurial Hubs
All housing, transportation, and meals are covered during programming sessions.
Additionally, housing is provided for 4 break weekends to enjoy the city you’re in!
We’re looking for four enthusiastic, motivated, self starter interns to provide critical support to Quarter Zero staff, participants, speakers and advisors for both cohorts of the Incubator.
The Summer Program Intern will have the opportunity to gain significant exposure to the inner workings of Quarter Zero, a scaling startup. As an intern of our flagship program, you will be able to witness everything that happens behind the scenes, the decision making process our staff goes through, and how to best support young entrepreneurs. In addition, you will hear speakers from a range of backgrounds and industries, visit four different hubs of innovation around the country, and work alongside Quarter Zero’s advisor network.
The role will involve both in-person assistance while programming is in session and virtual assistance of student ventures. Days may include a combination of in-person support for one Incubator cohort & virtual support for the other Incubator cohort. The role will include the following components:
- Program Counselor
- Logistics Support
- Project Management
Please note that preference will be given to applicants who are college juniors, seniors, and recent grads (or in a comparable scenario).
Please email JoinOurTeam [at] QuarterZero.com with your cover letter (300 words max) and resume to apply to this role.
Full Time Team Member Perks
Healthcare allowance & reimbursement plan, commuter benefits, and more.
Flexible Vacation Culture
We recognize that rest is important so we don’t have a culture of nitpicking exact days.
Grow with the Company
We're a small team so you'll be given a vast amount of responsibility and independence.
Work from home when the weather is terrible or work from your hometown-home when you want to visit your family, we are remote-friendly.
Close-Knit Small Team
A flat structure, annual retreats, team activities, and open feedback make for a happy environment.
We operate as a social enterprise and love that our work impacts the next generation of entrepreneurs & startups.
